Time to just play with sand, dress up, parachutes, pillow fight and much more. Wear your old clothes!

For children play is the most important thing they do….
Children love playing, it comes naturally to them, they will do it anywhere and anytime, though they prefer and benefit from spending time playing outdoors.
Play is essential to the healthy development of children and young people – not just their physical development, but their social and cognitive development too.
Dublin City Council maintains about 100 playgrounds around the city, some in parks and some in housing complexes.
If you find damaged or faulty equipment in any playgrounds please contact your local Council office or the Play Development Officer at the address below.

- Get ideas for new play opportunities in your housing complex or local park.
- Please report any equipment faults, vandalism or ant-social activity (e.g. drinking) in your playground, park or play area to our Play Development Officer.
