If you are an older person, you can enjoy a variety of community services from Dublin City Council. This includes social activities like bingo, dance classes and more.
Many more services are available to older people who live in a Sheltered Housing Complex, e.g. cooked meals, laundry, etc.
Garden Parties at Sheltered Housing Schemes - July and August
There's nothing quite like an outdoor party during the summer for a chance to enjoy some food, a cool drink and the fresh air whilst relaxing with friends.
So come join the fun at Dublin City Council’s Garden Parties which will be taking place at a number of Dublin City Council’s Sheltered Housing schemes during July and August. There will be live music and food on offer at all events but also other ‘activities’ (which will vary from venue to venue) including Flower Arranging, Pétanque/Bowls, Gardening Talks, Nature Talks, Parachute Games, Chair Aerobics, Dance and Art.

- Tuesday, 6th July at 3pm - Claddagh Court, Blackditch Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10
- Tuesday, 13th July at 2pm – Heskin Court, Merrion Road, Dublin 4
- Monday, 19th July at 3pm – Raheny Court, Avondale Road, Raheny, Dublin 5
- Tuesday, 20th July at 2pm – Charlemont Court, Charlemont Mall, Dublin 2
- Tuesday, 27th July at 1pm – Merville Court, St. Helenas Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11
- Tuesday, 10th August at 2pm - Millwood Court, Woodbine Road, Raheny, Dublin 5
- Tuesday, 17th August at 2pm – Clonmacnoise Court, Clonmacnoise Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12
- Tuesday, 24th August at 2pm - Ballybough Court, Kings Avenue, Ballybough, Dublin 3
- Tuesday, 31st August at 2pm – La Touche Court, Bluebell Road, Bluebell, Dublin 12
