If you think you are at risk of becoming homeless, contact the Dublin City Tenancy Sustainment Service (DCTS) for advice and assistance. You can use this service if:
- You live in a private rented flat or house in the Dublin City Council area.
- You live in private rented accommodation
- You are on the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS).
Note: If you live in another council area in Dublin, you need to contact their Tenancy Sustainment Officers as below.

DCTS provides the following services:
- Help you to manage your money better (including your rent money).
- Obtain the Social Welfare benefits you are entitled to.
- Dealing with debt.
- Understand your rent agreement and legal entitlements.
- Keep your job or get a new job.
- It will also help you to:
- Access training and jobs.
- Fill in forms.
- Cope with health and mental health issues.
- Cope with alcohol or drug addiction.
- Join a support group.

About the Tenancy Sustainment Service
Dublin City Council and Dublin Simon established the Tenancy Sustainment Service to break the cycle of homelessness. We do this by reducing the number of households returning to homelessness or becoming homeless for the first time.
