Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2014 – 2018
In accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998, Dublin City Council (being the relevant housing authority specified under the Act) is preparing a new Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period 2014 – 2018. This plan will cover the functional area of Dublin City Council.
Dublin City Council requested submissions for the Programme from interested parties to be made by 20th September 2013. On foot of these submissions and following an assessment of existing and projected accommodation needs for members of the Travelling Community within the City Council’s administrative area, a draft version of the Traveller Accommodation Programme has been prepared and is available for public viewing from 22/10/2013.
The draft can be accessed by clicking this link. Copies of the DRAFT can be viewed at the address listed below and can be requested by phoning (01) 222 3301. Copies are also available for viewing in the City Council’s local Area Offices.
Submissions are invited from interested parties and should be made in writing and returned in a sealed envelope marked ‘DRAFT Traveller Accommodation Programme 2014 – 2018’ and addressed to Executive Manager, Dublin City Council, Traveller Accommodation Unit, Block 1, Floor 2, Civic Offices, Christchurch, Dublin 8, to be received no later than 12.00 noon, 23/12/2013.
