Record of Protected Structures in Dublin City

The Record of Protected Structures lists all protected structures and buildings in Dublin. This includes structures of architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, cultural, social, scientific or technical importance. The current Record of Protected Structures (Volume 3 of the 2011-2017 Dublin City Development plan) came into force on the 22nd of December 2010.

The Record of Protected Structures available below includes all of those additions, deletions and amendments that have been passed to date, since the 22nd of December 2010.

Proposed Additions and Deletions to the Record of Protected Structures are made by way of public consultation and resolution of the City Council. A structure becomes a proposed Protected Structure when notices under Section 55 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2002 have been served. A proposed Protected Structure has the same protection as a structure on the Record of Protected Structures
