This Strategy sets out policy on the location and type of outdoor advertising structures across the City.  Dublin City Council now seeks the public’s views which, depending on the issues raised, may result in a Statutory Variation of the City Development Plan 2011-2017.

Dublin City Development Plan 2011-2017

The Dublin City Development Plan sets out policies and objectives to create a sustainable and vibrant city at the heart of the Greater Dublin Region. This plan guides how and where development will take place in the city over the next 6 years.

This plan was adopted by Dublin City Council at a Special adjourned Meeting on 24th November 2010. The plan came into effect on 22nd December 2010.   Find out more about the plan.

Sandymount Village Design Statement (VDS)

The Sandymount Village Design Statement (SVDS) was formally launched on 7th September 2011 in the Sandymount Hotel by the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan T.D., in the presence of the Deputy Lord Mayor, Cllr. Maria Parodi. For more details, please click here.
