Photos in the Dublin City Council Image Gallery can be downloaded and used free of charge for non-commercial use in publications or presentations. The copyright holder is named in the caption, in brackets under each image. The copyright holder must be acknowledged in all cases where an image is used.  Failure to do so is a breach of copyright. 
 
Dublin City Council has made every effort to verify copyright of the images it uses and has successfully accredited copyright for almost all images. However, Dublin City Council cannot guarantee that it has been successful in every case because of the vintage of a small number of images.
