Why not join Dublin City Council and explore the Winter Wildlife on Bull Island walking tour. Meet outside Raheny Dart Station on Wednesday, 18th February at 2pm.
Dublin Bay is internationally renowned for the wealth of birds that visit in Autumn and Winter to feed on the sands and mud flats. Biodiversity Officer, Mairead Stack will help you explore the rich abundance of animal and plant life in and around the bay.
“We are very lucky in Dublin to have nature so close to hand. In the current difficult times there are few activities as good for body and mind as a bracing walk on Bull Island. I certainly need it and being accompanied by an expert makes it all the more interesting” said the Lord Mayor Eibhlin Byrne.
