Photo Opportunity:

  • Lord Mayor, Eibhlin Byrne and Minister John Gormley to launch programme
  • 10 children will arrive from Belgrove Senior Girls National School to attend the DVD launch
  • RTE TV Presenter Liam McCormack who narrated the DVD will attend
  • Litter props will be available

Background Information
"Put Litter in its Place” is an education pack consisting of a DVD and a booklet on the topic of litter. The education pack is targeted   at teachers of primary and secondary school students and the intention is that it will be used in class to aid a lesson and discussion on the topic of anti-litter. A website to support the initiative called putlitterinitsplace.ie  will also be available.
