On Thursday 25th of June at 7.15pm Dublin City Council in association with the Management Committee for “Senior Residents” of the North Inner City will host a Ballroom of Romance in the Community and Recreation Centre in Dominick Street. Invite only.

Lord Mayor, Cllr Emer Costello who will be in attendance commented as follows “I am delighted to attend the Ballroom of Romance in the Dominick Street Community Centre.  I know from attending the Senior Citizens’ parties over the years that there are many great dancers in the area.  My husband Joe and I could do with a few tips on ballroom dancing to help us in the coming year.  Community events such as the one being held this evening are vital to maintaining and establishing good neighbourhood bonds.  In these times of economic hardship we all need an opportunity to enjoy ourselves and this event will do just that.   Well done to all involved.”
