Lord Mayor of Dublin, Eibhlin Byrne, will officially open the Newbury Woods Housing Development, Clonshaugh Road, Dublin 5,  on Friday 22nd May 2009 at 11.30 am.

The 59 affordable houses consist of 33 three bed and 26 two bed homes. Three specific house types were developed to offer a varied streetscape and provide for differing levels of accommodation requirements. These house types represent modern re-interpretations of standard houses and are designed to maximise the good southerly aspect enjoyed by every house

“The opening of this development represents the commitment of Dublin City Council to provide ultra modern and affordable housing for its citizens.  Newbury Woods is considered one of Dublin city’s finest developments and I believe that the variety provided reflects the many aspects of Dublin housing going into the future“ said the Lord Mayor.
