1.ADVANCE PHOTOCALL for Liffey Swim

Lucy Gaynor, the Swim’s youngest competitor, together with Rachel Lee from Dublin Fire Brigade and Shane Drumm (both scratch swimmers), will lead a group of swimmers into the Liffey for a practice swim as Cllr. John Gallagher, representing Dublin’s Lord Mayor will announce details of this year’s Liffey Swim.

 

  • ON : Wednesday, 9th September 2008
  • AT : 12.45pm
  • VENUE: Custom House Quay, Docklands, Dublin 1 (At Jeanie Johnson mooring near Sean O'Casey Bridge)

 

 

2. Liffey Swim Competition

330 men and women will compete in the Liffey Swim

  • ON : Saturday 12th September
  • AT : 16.00hrs - Men’s Race 17.00hrs - Women’s Race
  • FROM : Rory O’More Bridge at Watling Street
  • FINISHLINE : Custom House Quay

 

A number of boats will be available for journalists / photographers / camera crews to follow the length of the Race.  The meeting point for journalists to board boats will be Custom House Quay at 15.30 on Saturday 12th September 2009. To facilitate journalists and photographers and to ensure that enough boats are provided, please confirm attendance at the email address or telephone numbers furnished below.
