Following the recent announcement by the Food Safety Authority regarding the disposal of pork products, Dublin City Council is advising customers who have a Brown Bin collection service not to deposit pork products or pork waste in their Brown Bins during the present emergency situation. Such products should be returned to retailers or, if this is not practicable, they should be deposited in the Black/Grey Bin for collection and safe disposal. 

This is a precautionary measure and once the present situation is resolved, customers can resume depositing pork waste in their Brown Bins.
