Litter Pollution Acts 1997-2003

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with the requirements of the Litter Pollution Acts 1997-2003 that Dublin City Council has prepared a Draft Replacement Litter Management Plan for the City.

The Draft Replacement Plan is available for inspection online and also at the following locations during normal opening hours:

• Customer Services Centre, Ground Floor, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.
• All Public Libraries in the Dublin City Council area.
• Dublin City Council Area Offices 
• A copy of the Draft Replacement Plan may also be obtained free of charge at the above location

Submissions

Submissions on the Draft Replacement Plan should be made by 4pm on Thursday 21st February in either of the following manners:

• By e-mail to engineering@dublincity.ie
• By post to the Executive Manager, Dublin City Council, Environment and Engineering Department, Block 1, Floor 4, Civic Offices, Dublin 8   

All submissions should be clearly marked “Draft Replacement Litter Management Plan”.

Open Day

As part of the consultation process, an Open Day for all interested bodies and individuals who wish to make oral presentations on the Draft Replacement Plan will be held in the Gresham Hotel, O’Connell Street, Dublin 1 on Tuesday 12TH February 2008 from 10am – 1pm and 3pm – 8pm.

All submissions/representations will be considered by the City Council before the final adoption of the Replacement Litter Management Plan.
