Dublin City Council’s Older Persons Unit in conjunction with FAS are happy to announce the return of the “Meals” service to Rosevale and Raheny Court on Tuesday 26th August 2008 at 11.30am.

“I am delighted to be here today and I acknowledge this valuable service which is so much more than providing a hot meal.   It is also about promoting community development by providing a safe and sociable atmosphere where people within the community can meet up and stay in touch with each other” said the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Eibhlin Byrne.

In preparation of the return of the “Meals” service, Dublin City Council carried out a complete re-vamp of the kitchen at Rosevale Court, added on a new laundry room and community room for the residents.
