Lord Mayor of Dublin offers her sincere condolences on the untimely death of Minister Séamus Brennan
It is with great sadness I have learned of the death of Séamus Brennan. Always an innovative and creative Minister, he applied his considerable talents to all the portfolios which he held. In addition to his creativity, he displayed considerable compassion and humanity while Minister of Social & Family Affairs.
Séamus was the consummate politician, skilled in the art of negotiation and respectful of alternative viewpoints. He brought an old-fashioned courtesy and charm to an often harsh and combative profession. He will be sadly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
