August Bank Holiday Arrangements

Dublin City Public Libraries will be closed from Saturday 31st July to Monday 2nd August (inclusive). Branch libraries will re-open on Tuesday 3rd August.

Certificate in Local History 2010-2011

Certificate in Local History 2010-2011 The Certificate in Local History, run by the National University of Ireland Maynooth, will be offered at Dublin City Library & Archive beginning this autumn.

UNESCO City of Literature

26 July 2010: Initiated and led by the city library service, Dublin is formally designated as a UNESCO City of Literature, part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

Your access to the Ireland Collection is provided by Dublin City Public Libraries and is available online from any of the city branch libraries.
