If you need to do something that could interfere with a public road or footpath, you need to get a permit or licence from us before you go-ahead. The most common of these permits/licences are listed below.

Apply for a permit or licence to:

• Put a skip on a public road
• Get for an Abnormal Load Permit
• Build a scaffold or hoarding
• Place tables and chairs outside your café, hotel or bar (in the 'Business' section of this site)
• Get a Road Opening Licence

• Cranes, Hoists and Vehicles Permits
