The Roadworks Control Unit controls and manages all roadworks in the city. Our aim is to minimise the impact on traffic flow and maintain public safety. To this end we:
- Issue licences and place conditions on all roadworks.
- Carry out inspections and issue Violation Notices if required.
Contractors: Apply to start roadworks
To dig in a road or street, you must apply for a Road Opening Licence.
