An image of people taking part in "Happy Pizza"

Crew TV, an initiative of Young Urban Arts, trained 14 young people from youth projects around the city to produce, direct and act in their own TV series.
The result "Happy Pizza" will be screened on DCTV this Saturday December 12th at 7pm. (DCTV can be viewed on NTL digital channel 802).
The action centres on disillusioned and world-weary pizza delivery boy John and the lives of the customers he visits, offering comic shorts alongside a strong narrative thread.

Young Urban Arts is a youth arts  partnership between Dublin City Council Arts Office, City of Dublin Youth Service Board and City Arts. The Crew TV programme was also  supported by Dublin Community Television and Broadcast Commission of Ireland.

“I never had the confidence to do anything like this before, and I’m glad I went for it now. Don’t hold back, that’s all I can say. Follow your dreams… because we’ve had a great time doing it.” – Willo Moore, 21
