Free workshop hosted by Rathmines Writers’ Workshop
(1st in a series of 5 workshops on creative writing under different headings)

There will be two sessions: 10:30am-12:30pm, & 2-3:30pm

Facilitator: Richard Reid

Richard will lead the workshop.  He promises to help you do what you always wanted to do but have never found the time.  He says ‘the time is now, bring, paper, pen and yourself!’

He was born in 1927 in Bombay, India and married in Chile, South America.  Educated in England he studied at Oxford, during which time he spent holidays in Ireland and eventually settled here with his family and is an Irish Citizen.

He says ‘writing is a therapy in retirement from a variety of employments and a mastery of none!’

Richard has been an inspiration to the members of the Rathmines Writers since he joined in 2003 and is a shining example of activity in retirement.  He never fails to enthral us with insightful and topical pieces of writing.  Join him on Oct. 3rd and let him inspire you.
