The Parks and Landscapes Services Division plans, designs and manages the City's landscapes to provide an attractive and sustainable City. The Division also aims to meet the social, recreational and conservational needs of the City and its citizens. Parks Opening and Closing Times

The official opening time is 10.00 am. A bell will sound half an hour before official closing.

Gardening Shows for Dublin

The Irish Specialist Nursery Association are presenting two gardening shows for Dublin in conjunction with local farmers Markets. These gardening shows will be held on the following days:

 

  • Saturday March 20th, The Red Stables, St. Annes Park. Dublin 3. Opening at 10am


Easter Sunday and Monday, April 4th and 5th, Farmleigh Estate, Phoenix Park, Dublin 15. Opening at 10am

Guidelines for Open Space and Landscape Development Works

The Parks and Landscapes Services Division of Dublin City Council have issued general guidelines for the development of open space to ensure quality standards are met. Persons preparing planning applications, including landscape professionals, should be aware of the specific European and national standards relating to open space and landscape development works.
