Would you like to run an event, do you have a great idea for an Event? One of the objectives of the City Council is to continue to animate public spaces and to encourage the use of public spaces for suitable events for people who live, work in or visit Dublin.
The Events Unit will consider all applications for events. Events envisaged include sporting & cultural events, festivals, markets etc. We would also welcome events in the city centre public spaces that add to existing events or festivals in the city.
An individual, a group, an organisation or an event production/marketing company can make an application to develop an event under the guidelines laid out in Dublin City Council's Event Advisory handbook (246 kb)
Funding may be available to support the event.
