Culture, Recreation and Amenity Services in Dublin City

Our Role
Our role is to provide a wide range of services for citizens of Dublin and visitors to our city to enjoy.  Our services enable you to experience Irish culture, the arts and to engage in a host of sports and leisure activities or simply to take pleasure in our wonderful parks and amenities such as playgrounds.  Our services and events are easily accessible and many are free. 

Some of our most popular services include:

Events and Tourism

The promotion of events and tourism in the City is an important service.  We are actively promoting events in Dublin City for The Gathering 2013 and are starting a Decade of Commemorations to mark significant historic events.

Additional Services

We also manage a number of other services such as Animal Welfare, provision of Casual Trading licences, Commemorative Naming, Intoxicating Liquor Bye-Laws, Higher Education Grants, School Meals and the City Hall Exhibition Space.
