Ballyfermot Library’s Digital Learning Centre offers a range of learning opportunities to:
- Learn about the keyboard
- Develop computer skills,
- Learn to type,
- Develop reading and writing skills,
- Learn about digital photography (facilitated workshops available from time to time)
Its multimedia resources support a range of learning styles in way that is both fun and learner-centred. Additional resources will be made available as required.

Target Groups
Ballyfermot Library is particularly interested in promoting this service to:
- Homework clubs
- Adult literacy groups
- Educational groups
- Older people
- Family learning programmes
- Members of the public with a disability
- Those participating in the WEBSmart Programme
- Workplace groups in association with DCC’s Training Unit.

- 12 PCs with a range of software and online (broadband) access
- Wheelchair dockable tables
- 6 PCs have 19inch monitors
- Keyboard gloves available
- Six digital cameras available for group work
