This scheme is located in Fingal County Council's administrative area. The scheme is complete and it consists of:
- Resurfacing of Blakestown Way including the marking of a 3m wide Bus Lane (Monday – Sunday 07.00 – 19.00) on the northern side of the road from its junction with Blakestown Road to its junction with Blanchardstown Road South.
- Upgrading of the footpaths on both sides of Blakestown Way to a 3m wide shared pedestrian and cycle facility.
- Construction of 2 new signalised crossings on Blakestown Way as shown on public display drawing.
- Construction of a raised traffic calming platform at the junction of Blakestown Way and Whitestown Avenue.
- Construction of 2 raised traffic calming platforms at entrances to car parking areas on south side of Blakestown Way.
- Upgrading of the existing bus stops to QBC standard (including bus shelters, kerbing and improved standing areas) and pruning of existing trees including relocation of 2 trees on northern side of Blakestown Way.
- Provision of double yellow lines on the northern side of Blakestown Way together with appropriate road signage.
Current status: The construction of this scheme is now complete.
