The Quality Bus Network Project Office, in partnership with South Dublin County Council, has prepared preliminary designs to introduce bus lanes on Ballycullen Road, Firhouse Road and Old Bridge Road. The scheme will provide maximum bus priority along the route and will involve widening of Firhouse Road and Ballycullen Road. It will also provide better cycle facilities, improved safety measures and the upgrading of pedestrian crossing facilities.
