The Quality Bus Network Project Office in partnership with South Dublin County Council prepared a preliminary design to introduce bus lanes on the Greenhills Road. These bus lanes are part of the re-alignment at Parkview and the Ballymount Reconfiguration. Both of which are schemes undertaken as part of South Dublin County Council’s non-national roads programme. The scheme provides the maximum bus priority along the route and involves revising the road markings of the current schemes to accommodate a bus lane.
