transportfordublin Introduction

Established in July 2008, the Transport Project Office was set up to collate and distribute information relating to the delivery of transport projects in the greater Dublin area. Funded by the National Transport Authority, we work closely with other agencies in gathering this information.

As well as the National Transport Authority, the other agencies involved are Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus, Iarnród Éireann, Dublin City Council, An Garda Síochána, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Dublin City Business Association, Railway Procurement Agency (RPA), the National Development Plan (NDP), Ballymun Regeneration Limited and the Dublin City Business Improvement District (BID).

The transport projects planned for Dublin are extensive and far reaching. They will transform the city and radically improve it for us all - citizens and visitors alike. Of course, at all stages during this transformation, Dublin is Open – for business, shopping, tourism, recreation, culture, sports and everything else that makes the city such a vibrant and exciting place to be.

It is our aim to keep both citizens of, and visitors to Dublin, fully informed and up-to-date as the various transport projects are rolled out across the city. To keep informed please keep an eye on our website www.transportfordublin.ie  or follow us on twitter http://twitter.com/#!/dublintransport
