Introduction
The work of the Air Quality Monitoring and Noise Control Unit of Dublin City Council includes:
- Investigation of Air Pollution complaints and enforcement of air pollution control legislation
- Monitoring of environmental noise and enforcement of noise control legislation
- Air quality monitoring
- Provision of expertise on an ongoing basis to other services and departments in Dublin City Council
- Research projects
The Unit consists of a Principal Environmental Health Officer (PEHO), 3 Senior Environmental Health Officers (SEHO’s), 4 Environmental Health Officers (EHO’s) and a Technical Support Officer (TSO).
