Composting is a natural process. Organic materials such as leaves, grass, and vegetable scraps are broken down by microorganisms, forming a rich soil-like substance called compost. Compost is a valuable product and can be used in your garden. By composting you are greatly reducing the amount of household waste you send to landfill.
If you have a garden, composting is easy and takes up very little time and space ultimately saving you money! To find out more about how to get started simply click on the following link. This composting booklet provides an overview of all aspects of home composting.
