The Managers of Dublin City Council, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council,  made a Waste Management Plan for the Dublin Region on the 11th November 2005. The Waste Management Plan is in accordance with the provisions of Section 22(10) of the Waste Management Acts, 1996 to 2005 as amended.

A copy of the Waste Managaement Plan 2005-2010 can be purchased for €70. A CD version can also be bought for €5 from any the four local authorities' headquarters.
