Free Electrical Recycling Day

Dublin City Council in conjunction with WEEE Ireland are pleased to announce the following WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) collection day:

Any household electrical appliance with a plug or a battery will be accepted free of charge for example:

  • Video Players
  • Game consoles
  • Microwaves
  • IT Equipment
  • Dishwashers
  • Power Tools
  • Fluorescent Tubes
  • Battery Operated Toys
  • All Batteries
  • Kettles
  • TVs and many more.....

Bagged Domestic Waste to be accepted at recycling centres

Dublin City Council are pleased to announce that bagged household domestic waste will be accepted at Ringsend Recycling Centre and Northstrand Recycling Centre as and from Monday 26th September. There will be a charge of €4 for each 80 litre bag of domestic waste disposed.

Important Notice: Bring Centres Change of Opening Hours

As and from Sunday 1st May, the following Bring Centres will no longer be open on Sunday or Bank Holidays:

  • Gulistan Terrace, Rathmines
  • Windmill Road, Crumlin
  • Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock
  • Collins Avenue (opposite DCU entrance)

Opening hours will be as follows:

  • Mon – Thurs    9am – 4pm
  • Friday                9am – 1pm
  • Saturday          10am –4pm
