Waste Facility Permit Regulations

The Waste Management (Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations S.I. 821 of 2007 and Waste Management (Facility Permit) (Amendment) Regulations S.I. 86 of 2008 came in to effect on the 1st June 2008.

Dublin City Council is responsible for issuing waste facility permits and certificates of registration in the City Council area.
The regulations are available to view and download from the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government’s website at:

A Guidance Manual on the implementation of the Regulations has been prepared by the Environmental Protection Agency and is available to view and download from the EPA website at:
