Dublin’s North West Area has a population of 51,000. It is bounded by the M50 to the North and by the Tolka River to the South and includes the village of Finglas, the town of Ballymun and parts of Glasnevin and Santry. Our North West Area Office is one of five administrative areas used by Dublin City Council to co-ordinate the delivery of services locally to residents.
Five City Councillors represent the North West Area on Dublin City Council. We have three TD’s serving this area:
- Minister Pat Carey TD
- Noel Ahern TD
- Roisin Shortall TD
Dublin City Council provides services to over half a million people living in the largest city in Ireland and over one and a half million who visit the city daily.
