The Dublin Fire Brigade responds to fires and other emergencies, thereby protecting the people, industry and property of our city. We have over 900 personnel.

The areas we cover are:

• Dublin City
• Fingal (north County Dublin)
• South Dublin (south County Dublin)
• Dún Laoghaire / Rathdown

 Our Services

• Emergency response to fire, flooding, road accidents, chemical incidents and other hazards 
• Ambulance service (as a support to the Health Service Executive)
• Water rescue services
• Provision of Fire Safety Licences to builders and developers
• Provision of licences to public events, e.g. outdoor concerts
• Auxiliary fire service (in conjunction with Civil Defence)
• Training in fire safety and first aid for business
