Croke Park Study

Dublin City Council has commissioned a broad ranging study on the economic, business and environmental effects/influences of Croke Park not only on its immediate neighbours but also across the wider Dublin City area.  The brief for the study was agreed in consultation with the Croke Park Community Liaison Committee, which is comprised of representatives from Croke Park, Dublin City Council, local residents, the business sector, City Councillors and the Gardai.
A consortium led by DKM Economic Consultants was appointed in June 2008 to undertake the study following a public procurement process.

The study considered the influences and effects of Croke Park on the immediate area and the wider city and assessed whether the stadium is functioning in the widest sense to the optimum benefit of Dublin’s citizen’s in particular those in the immediate catchment.

The results of the study were presented to the members of the Croke Park Community Liaison Committee at its meeting held on the 21st October 2008.
