The South East Area is one of 5 administrative areas used by Dublin City Council to co-ordinate the delivery of services in the city. It includes Rathmines, Rathgar, Terenure, Ringsend, Irishtown, Pearse Street and the South East Inner City.
Sandymount Village Design Statement (VDS)

The Sandymount Village Design Statement (SVDS) was formally launched on 7th September 2011 in the Sandymount Hotel by the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan T.D., in the presence of the Deputy Lord Mayor, Cllr. Maria Parodi.
Speaking at the launch the Deputy Lord Mayor said “Sandymount VDS is a very exciting and innovative example of how local communities can become actively involved in environmental planning and management matters and in doing so creating a vision for the future of their village.”

Relocation of Ringsend and Pembroke Area Office
The Ringsend and Pembroke Area Office which was based in Portview House, Thorncastle Street, Ringsend is closed and has relocated to the Civic Offices.
