Welcome to Dublin City Council’s Online Self Service Portal
On Wednesday 14th March 2012 we updated our Self Service Portal with a new Mapping Feature. This feature allows you to pinpoint the exact location of your incident on a map.
You can report issues to us like abandoned vehicles, graffiti, illegal dumping, request an application form and much more.
How it Works
On the following page, you will see a list of Service Requests types. Simply click on the one that applies.
There are two steps to complete:
- Step One: Identify Problem – Type a summary of your request. Then type the name of the nearest street into the box. As you type, a list of matching streets will appear. Select the correct one from the list. Click Select Map.
- When the map appears, follow the instructions to the left of the map to mark the location of the incident.
- Make sure that you click the Save button
, then click Next
- Step Two: Problem Details – Enter details of the request and click Submit*
*Please note that failure to provide your name and contact details may result in your service request not being dealt with.

How do I keep track of my request?
Once submitted, you will see your service request number. Take a note of this so that you can track the progress of your request using the search facility.
How to use the search facility
Go to the Service Request screen and enter your Service Request number into the search box in the top left-hand corner and click Go:

You will see the status of your request
