Annual Rose Festival at St. Anne’s Park

Annual Rose Festival at St. Anne’s Park 14th & 15th July.

Dublin City Council invites everyone to come along and join in the fun at the annual St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival which takes place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July, 2018 from 10am to 6pm each day.

Speaking ahead of the event the Lord Mayor Nial Ring said “St. Anne’s Park is the place to be on the northside of Dublin this weekend.  I myself regularly visit St. Anne’s for the Park Run, walking our dog as well as watching football matches. It really is the jewel in the crown of Dublin Parks with the Rose Garden, the Red Stables and the sculptured tree to mention but a few of its highlights. I encourage families to come along and enjoy the annual Rose Festival which is taking place on Saturday and Sunday in the beautiful park surroundings. St. Anne’s Park holds a special place in the heart of all Dubliners and this annual event is a firm favourite with everyone.”

Don’t miss the chance to spend a weekend during full summer enjoying the atmosphere, taking the time to visit the Rose garden and enjoying all that the Park has to offer. Our picnic area will be in big demand, with FREE entertainment provided each day on site.

Those seeking inspiration for their garden won’t be disappointed with the Festival. We have plant sellers, nurseries, garden centres, florists, and this year our Biodiversity Hub will inform you and keep you updated on all environmental issues affecting the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere for which St. Anne’s plays an important role. For those who want a day in the sun there will be a good assortment of trade stands and treats and, of course, the Farmers Market will be in full swing over the weekend also.

Admission to the Rose Festival is free and car parking within the park is €3.

Photos will be syndicated to picture desks by Fennell Photography on 11th July ahead of the Festival.
