PenLike to write? Want to try? Fiction, poetry, it matters not. A little ambition can go a long way! Members of Writers' Groups meet informally to talk about their writings, improve their skills, and to offer encouragement to one another.

Grow It Yourself Groups

Fruit and vegetablesGrow It Yourself (GIY) Groups meet in two libraries (Walkinstown and Raheny libraries). GIY groups are local food growers networks that recreate the camaraderie of allotment growing for back-garden vegetable growers by getting them together on a regular basis to learn from each other and exchange tips, war-stories and produce. Citizens Information CentresCitizens Information Centres (CICs) are hosted in Donaghmede and Raheny Libraries and provide free, impartial and confidential information. They provide integrated information across the full range of state services and entitlements as well as local services and supports.

Free 4-week Discover Diabetes course starting in Pearse Street Library on 21st April.This course can help you look after diabetes and your health and teach you about all the different aspects of diabetes care . This workshop looks at identifying triggers, how to manage our thought processes and how to thrive at life whilst working through anxiety.
