Check out the blooms at the Annual Rose Festival at St. Anne’s Park

Dublin City Council invites you to come along and join in the fun at the annual St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival which takes place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July, 2017 from 10am to 6pm each day.

“St. Anne’s Park is one of the jewels of Dublin’s northside where the public can enjoy woodland walks, recreational facilities and, of course, the beautiful Rose Garden. I invite everyone to come along over the weekend and enjoy a great day of family fun in this beautiful setting. Is deis iontach é rósanna na páirce a fheiceáil agus iad ag teacht i mbláth mar aon le taitneamh a bhaint as na h-imeachtaí breátha atá eagraithe.  With horse and carriage rides, a falconry exhibition and lots of displays on Irish wildlife this is one festival not to be missed” said Ardmhéara Bhaile Átha Cliath Míchéal Mac Donncha.

Don’t miss the chance to spend a weekend during full summer enjoying the atmosphere, taking the time to visit the Rose garden and enjoying all that the Park has to offer. Not only are the roses there to be enjoyed but the Festival offers Trad Music with edge from Brian Boru. Also there will be the eclectic sounds of the Prairie Dawgs, Swing Time, The Rat Deppers, Blue Grass Collective and Jejune.  All will be performing over the weekend and for those who love dance, join us in the Red Stables court yard for Tango and Belly dancing.

For all our gardening visitors we will have plant sellers, nurseries, garden centres, florists, and this year our Biodiversity Hub will inform you and keep you updated on all environmental issues affecting the Unesco Biosphere for which St. Anne’s plays an important role. For those who want a day in the sun there will be a good assortment of trade stands and treats and of course our Farmers Market will be in full swing over the weekend also.

Admission to the Rose Festival is free and car parking is provided within the Park.
