Clarification on any confusion in connection with Contractors working on behalf of Dublin City Council in the city.

Dublin City Council have employed Survey Contractors to assess the condition of our Housing Stock (26,000 units) over the last number of months.  To date 16,000 such surveys have been carried out.

Written notification is sent to each resident, prior to the survey being carried out.  See sample attached.  All staff employed by the Contractors (who are employed by the Council) carry identification credentials and must present ID before entering anybody’s home.

Appointments are and can be made to have this survey carried out at a time that suits the residents.  Such appointments can be made by phoning Dublin City Council Housing Maintenance on T. (01) 222 2191.
