Poem by Marie Partridge

My name is Marie Partridge from Whitehall. I penned this little poem on World Suicide Prevention Day in September 2013.

He hanged himself today

by Marie Partridge

He hanged himself today.
A boy, life as yet untasted, now wasted.
Who can know what took possession of his mind?
All know the legacy left behind.
A family left in torment to mourn and cry
No warning, no goodbye
When time has eased the searing pain
The whys, so many whys, will still remain.
