Donaghmede gets ready to Rock the Park

“Rock the Park”, a music festival organised by Dublin City Council in conjunction with Near 90FM, featuring four local bands will take place at Fr. Collins Park, Donaghmede, Dublin 13 on Saturday 13th September 2014 from 2 – 6pm.
The headliners are “Lir”, a local band from Donaghmede. They are a "rock fusion" band and some of their hits were featured on the well known Irish television drama "Love Hate". Also featuring are "The Bionic Rats", a reggae band with a Dublin twist, “The Rattling Kind" who are a folk/rock band with a traditional sound and "The North Sea" who are an indie rock type music band. 
“This music festival will showcase local talent and promises to be a fun filled, entertaining day so come along and enjoy” said Elaine Mulvenny, Dublin City Council.
