Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere Conference: Connecting people and nature

Dublin Bay Biosphere Partnership is hosting a one day Biosphere Conference on Wednesday 26th October, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the George Moore Lecture Theatre, O'Brien Centre for Science (East), University College Dublin, Belfield.

The Conference will feature both international and local speakers who will give insights into UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves. They will explore what Biospheres stand for and will highlight the work being done by a wide range of stakeholders within Dublin Bay Biosphere.

Keynote speakers will include Professor Martin Price, Jeff Melnyk, Laurie Bennett and Dr. Olivia Crowe.

Themed sessions of talks will feature:
Biospheres from the World Network to Dublin Bay,
Education for Sustainable Development
Conservation & Research in Dublin Bay

Attendance, including lunch, refreshments and a conference pack, is €25 or €20 for students and senior citizens.
