Dublin City Council brings An Urban Fleadh to the City Centre this Bank Holiday Weekend

Dublin City Council’s Arts Office brings An Urban Fleadh to the city centre this Bank Holiday Weekend  on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2014 from 12 – 9pm each day. This free outdoor concert takes place at Wolfe Tone Park, Jervis Street, Dublin 1 and brings you a mix of Irish traditional music along with a global influence.

Special features this year is the well loved “Call to Dance” with a traditional Irish caller announcing the steps and inviting all to dance. Also featured this year is the Bodhrán Buzz where anyone can learn to play the Bodhrán in less than ten minutes! With Irish Sean-Nos dancing, a Céili Band, funk, folk and jazz music mixes as well as special overseas guests to be announced, this is one music weekend not to be missed!
