Dublin Fire Brigade - Halloween

Halloween is one of the busiest nights of the year for Dublin Fire Brigade. This year DFB processed approximately 600 calls between the hours of 4pm 31st October to 8 am 1st November for the Leinster region. The majority of fire calls received related to bonfires. These incidents also included domestic, truck, car and industrial fires with some larger incidents in Ticknock, Cloghran, Kinsealy and Swords. Throughout the night DFB emergency ambulance service responded to 259 incidents.

In general the incidents were spread throughout the city and county with the overall number of calls slightly increased on last year.

There were no reports of assault or injury to any DFB crews.
