Elevate at Central Plaza on Culture Night

Road Closures at College Green and Dame Street

Look to the skies on Culture Night, Friday September 20th, for a heart-stopping, one-of-a-kind spectacle on the soon-to-be-opened Central Plaza on Dame Street. Metal meets muscle on the Dublin skyline in Elevate, a breathtakingly beautiful, gravity-defying show created and performed by Ireland’s leading aerialists Aerial Cirque, with music by Cork-based composer Peter Power and visuals by Bulgarian artist Petko Panchev. Performances will be at 8.45pm – 9.15pm, 9.30pm – 10pm, and 10.30pm – 11pm.

This event is commissioned by Dublin City Council for Dublin Culture Night, with kind support from Hines and Stewart Construction.

To facilitate the event, road closures will be in place from 7pm – 11pm throughout the Dame Street and College Green area. This area will become pedestrianised during this time. Security and Event Staff will be on location during all periods of activity. The event staff will endeavour to work to provide vehicular access for as long as possible. Access to Temple Bar will be maintained via D’Olier Street, Westmoreland Street, Fleet Street and Aston Quay.
