Storytime Adventures in Vroom-Town

Thursday 6 August at 12pm

Online storytelling video. Join Emer from Vroom-Town Storytime for a special reading of Tang Arnold and his Monster Truck Wheels. Meet all your favourite characters Tang Arnold, Screech, Daisy, Sparkle and Terrible Terry as they embark on their latest adventure, and discover what fun and mischief they get up to. Suitable for children age 3-7 years.

Chinese New Year Children's Stories and Crafts

Rathmines Library, Saturday 25 January at 3pm 

A special themed storytelling and crafts event for children to celebrate Chinsese New Year. Suitable for children age 5-12 years. This year Chinese New Year celebrates the Year of the Rat.

In this special storytelling session, enjoy Christmas themed stories from various countries around the world with Róisín Murphy, storyteller.  Family event, most suitable for children age 7-12 years. Part of Family Time at Your Library programme.   

The Snowman

Walkinstown Library, Saturday 14 December at 2.30pm  

The Snowman - a Christmas Musical entertainment based on the book by Raymong Briggs with words and music by Howard Blake. This multi-media event incorporates a film screening with a live rendition of the music from the film and an accompanying narration. It tells the story of a boy whose snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve when the two embark on a series of magical adventures. Narration and vocals by James Barry with musical accompaniment by Aileen Cahill. 

Christmas Stories for Children

Scary Bear Halloween Storytelling

Special Halloween themed storytelling event for children. Come dressed for Halloween and bring along your Teddy all dressed up too. Most suitable for children age 3-7 years.
